Artist Statement

These images are from a series of train photographs I took and then altered with my own text and graphic additions, adding my own graffiti (albeit digitally) to the conversation on the train façade. I’m fascinated by the many ways poetic language may intersect with graffiti. Both are messages, but there’s a primacy about graffiti. Graffiti are messages that must be conveyed.
