Alex W Rader (b. 1996) is an artist born in New York City, raised as a third culture individual in Madrid, Spain. She graduated with her BFA from Hunter College in NYC in 2022 and where she continues to live and work. She’s held a Kossak Painting Fellowship under artist Drew Beattie, and an internship with Michelle Sakhai. Studying under these artists and others has given her the ability to interweave highly poignant imagery and an appetite for activism in her paintings. She has been featured in Vie Darling’s Interview, “Alex Rader: A Feminist Artist”, and has held art exhibitions across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
