Kathy Bruce

Kathy Bruce is a U.S. visual artist based in Argyll & Bute, Scotland.

She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Fellowship, two Fulbright-Hayes scholar grants and a Ford Foundation Grant. Her work has been exhibited in the U.K., U.S. and internationally including Senegal, Taiwan, Denmark, Peru, France, and Canada. She is a graduate of Yale University and The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

Bruce is a contributor to various literary journals including: Three Rooms Press, Vassar Review, Alchemy Literary Magazine, Open Minds Quarterly, The Perch – Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health, The New Southern Fugitives, Up the Staircase Quarterly, Ignatian Literary Magazine, Mud Season Review, Variant Literature, Landlocked Literary Magazine, Rejoiner of the Institute for Research on Women at Rutgers University, The Brooklyn Review, Twyckenham Notes, Porter House Review, Pushing Out the Boat, National Women’s History Museum and Minding Nature.
