She received her MFA in Nonfiction Writing from the University of Iowa in 2011 and has published essays in Cedar Valley Divide, Content Magazine, Club Narwahl, Drunken Boat and Rathalla Review. Her full-time career is with the University of Iowa as a research administrator to an environmental health sciences research center.
