Emily Mack is a creative nonfiction reader for Mud Season Review. She is a writer and editor, based in Chicago. In 2020, she earned her creative writing degree from Columbia University, where she edited The Columbia Review and won the department’s inaugural Ellis Avery Prize for Creative Writing. Currently, she is the senior editor of Chicago Agent magazine and, outside of work, keeps busy crafting her own stories. In addition to reading for Mud Season Review, she occasionally edits.
