Riki Moss is a mixed-media sculptor and writer interested in exploring the relationship between the human imagination, the environment, and the creatures we live with. A native of Brooklyn (before it was BROOKLYN), she received her BA from the University of Chicago and MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Recent exhibitions have included Nagoya, Japan, Holland, Boston, Italy and locally at the Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms, Burlington Center for the Arts, The Sullivan Museum, Helen Day in Stowe, SPA in Barre. She has received an Arts Matters Grant plus several Vermont Arts Council Development Grants. Her short stories have appeared in various anthologies. Her novel An Obese White Gentleman In NO Apparent Distress was published by North Atlantic Press in 2009. She’s currently working on a second novel.
