She is a 2016 Lambda Literary Fellow and was awarded Paragraph’s 2020 Jane Hoppen Residency. Currently she is a staff reader for Epiphany Magazine and a teacher at the Writers Studio in New York City. Originally from Houston, Texas, she now calls Brooklyn, New York her home.
